She Runs It Has Awarded Kasha Cacy the “Working Mother of the Year” Award
Congratulations to ENGINE Global CEO Kasha Cacy who was recognized as one the Working Mothers of the Year for 2020 by the industry organization, She Runs It. The awards were presented at an awards ceremony held at Cipriani (42nd Street) in New York City on February 27th.
She Runs It presents the awards to outstanding, multitasking moms who work in marketing, media, and tech. Kasha received her award in the “Established Mothers” category, defined as working mothers whose oldest child is between 7 and 17 years old. All the winners have demonstrated that they serve as strong role models and mentors to others, and inspire their co-workers, families, and communities with their talent and tenacity.
Kasha attended the event with three of her biggest supporters by her side – her sons Teddy and Felix, and her husband, Rob Cacy.
Members of ENGINE’s team were also out in full force to represent the company in its show of support. ABOUT SHE RUNS IT
She Runs It was founded in 1912 as League of Advertising Women (later named AWNY), by journal editors Christine and J. George Frederick as a counter to the exclusive, all-male Advertising League. Designed to encourage and promote women’s role in the advertising industry, the club held classes and dinners with presentations on advertising best practices and gave scholarships to encourage girls to pursue degrees in advertising during a time when women weren’t even allowed in many universities. Since then, we have re-branded as She Runs It. Our community has grown beyond advertising to all facets of marketing, media, and tech. We’ve also expanded beyond New York, first to Chicago with our eyes on national expansion.
