The role: Sales Administrator 

Start date Asap

As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting a smooth, effective sales process to help enable the growth of Engine Transformation. Your ‘can do’ attitude will support us to plan, organize and enhance the team in an effort to maximise productivity and simplify our processes.

As a valued member of the team, you will be a role model and key conductor of team spirit and culture of collaboration.

The work will be a combination of proactive, planned activities designed to support Engine’s brand and positioning in the marketplace together with more agile and reactive work, reflecting which initiatives, leads and opportunities are gaining traction in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations:
    • Supporting the sales operations process
    • Supporting new and existing sales through inputting into proposals and pitch presentation
    • Prioritising leads and opportunities
    • Coordinating stand-up meetings/calls for collaborating on all new opportunities
    • Spotting Opportunities on relevant procurement portals
    • Identifying Framework opportunities
  • Administration:
    • Initiating the Qualification process by setting up a BD code to monitor time & shared folder for proposal collaboration
    • Ensuring final proposals and pitches are in shared folders and proposal tracker updated
    • Maintaining and updating ET’s CRM platform with meeting reports, opportunities, and contacts
    • Supporting on retrospectives on all significant opportunities – won or lost ; learnings shared and acted on
    • Analysing Win/loss conversion rates investment levels and Opportunity type (marketing, framework, network etc)
    • Managing and progressing the Sales Pipeline

  • Essential Experience 
    • Excellent client relationship management skills
    • Previous experience working within a sales administration role 
    • Experience in managing CRM/Sales pipelines
    • Strong client management skills and attention to detail
    • Confident networker
    • Growth mentality 
    • A passion for customer-centred delivery
    • Desire to continue to improve and evolve skills and understanding in this space
  • Desirable Skills & Experience
    • Experience in operations/admin/sales
    • Resilience and a can-do mindset
    • Awareness of Agile project management methodology
