ENGINE RESTRUCTURES IN LINE WITH CLIENT DEMAND
27TH SEPTEMBER 2017
We are excited to annouce that we have restructured into four new business units. The change is designed to ensure Engine is ideally placed to service client needs in 2017 and beyond.
The new structure is designed around existing and prospective client needs in four key areas of focus:
• Engine Creative & Content
• Engine PR & Activation
• Engine Digital transformation, data and insight
• Engine Media.
Each of Engine’s agency and consultancy brands will now sit within one of these business units encouraging even closer collaboration and integration of Engine’s specialist expertise.
By bringing complementary businesses together, we will look to combine different areas of specialist expertise to develop new products, propositions and ways of working. This continues Engine’s integrated approach – 56% of our revenue comes from clients using multiple services.
Each business unit will be led by a member of the Engine senior leadership team:
Matt Edwards, CEO of WCRS and DF London will now oversee Engine Creative & Content (WCRS, DF London, Trailer Park and NuFu).
Simon Peck, will continue as Group Managing Director of Engine, and will also oversee Engine PR & Activation (MHP, Mischief, Slice and Synergy).
Emma Robertson, CEO of Transform, will now oversee Engine Digital Transformation, Data and Insight (Transform, PAA, Fuel and ORC).
Pete Edwards will continue to oversee Engine’s fast-growing media offer and Engine Strategy.
The individual agency and consultancy brand names will be retained.
Debbie Klein, Chief Executive of Engine Europe and Asia Pacific, said:
“Since its inception, Engine has led the way in seamlessly delivering integrated marketing communications. We’ve always been client-led in our approach, building bespoke teams around business needs. By bringing our market leading brands together into four connecte business units, we will be able to further leverage the collective firepower of our specialists whilst continuing to value and protect their distinctiveness.”
